What Are the Estimates for Next Year’s Colorado Business Growth?

The economy in Colorado has already expanded a great deal in the past few years. Some evidence of that fact includes the many new jobs and homes available, the new construction in the area and the renewed interests that companies have in relocating or expanding their horizons to the Colorado industry scene.

As a result of numerous companies hiring new workers in the construction, tourism and health industries, Colorado has experienced an unprecedented economic growth this year, and that outlook just seems to be getting brighter.

Next year, statistical and corporate estimates show that an even greater increase is in store for the Colorado manufacturing industry. This year the estimates were even more impressive than last year’s figure of a 2.4% growth associated with the overall economy of Colorado, which was also better than the estimated percentages for 2016.

Probably the biggest concern that the economy is likely to face in 2018 is still the lack of qualified workforce. According to experts, construction and manufacturing companies are especially lacking in workers who could occupy all the necessary positions created to compensate for the greater workload and more pressing construction projects underway today.   Mechanical jobs in manufacturing hydraulic hose fittings and other types of fittings are at an all time high.

As more people move to Colorado, however, it is expected that the steady economic growth in the area will continue, and that the prosperity and industrial strength of Colorado will lead to better living conditions for all those living here.
